The Ethics Committee of the Department of Psychology has three main goals:

To promote education and awareness of ethical research according to the acceptable standards.

To review and evaluate submitted research proposals carried out by Department of Psychology, and to propose/require
modifications or additional information to ensure the ethical treatment of human research participants. -
To approve research proposals the committee believes to have met the updated requirement of an ethical research.
NOTE. Individual researchers
responsible for meeting the ethical conduct of research, and not the
Department of Psychology Committee.This responsibility lies with department faculty overseeing the researcher, including research
conducted by undergraduate or graduate students.
